Winter Engagement sessions happen to be one of my favourite things to photograph! Yes, it is definitely cold. But these sessions are something different and not at all popular. Snow can completely change the look and feel of a familiar landscape and I am quite obsessed with it.
When we arrived at Balls Falls, we bundled up and quickly headed out on a little hike into the woods! Moving a bit faster then usual is quite necessary during a winter session for obvious reasons. However I did love how Paloma and Evan came prepared and dressed for the weather. This is essential to complete a winter session and adorably fits the scene. Scarfs, hats and boots are all a must. But when chosen properly, you can totally still look adorable without being too bulky and covered up.
The snow had fallen the day prior and coated everything so beautifully. There was a chill in the air, I can’t deny. But Paloma and Evan were all kinds of adorable. Never the less, my time spent outside with them was enough to feel grateful for.
Excitement fills my heart to spend more time with these two this coming April to document their wedding day! For now… enjoy a peek at their Winter Engagement session at Balls Falls.
